Recently, Hefei HUAYUN Machinery successfully obtained two food-grade material test reports for FDA-EPDM and FDA-NBR hoses, further reinforcing its compliance foundation for the export of food-grade hose pumps to the European and American markets.

EPDM hoses are suitable for conveying water-based materials such as beverages, purified water, and fruit and vegetable pulps. They offer excellent resistance to steam sterilization as well as acid and alkali soaking. NBR hoses, made from nitrile rubber, provide strong resistance to vegetable and animal oils, making them ideal for applications such as edible oil and meat slurry transfer. Together, these two materials cover a wide range of food-processing conditions, including wet, dry, and oil-containing media.

The testing process involved rigorous evaluation across multiple dimensions, including raw material formulation, extractables, and heavy metal migration. All tested indicators met the required standards.

With these dual FDA certifications, HUAYUN food-grade hose pumps can be directly applied in food-processing projects in the United States, helping overcome overseas market access barriers.
